San Francisco June 7th 2011

Today we purchased a two pass for the sightseeing bus that takes you around the city. You just hop on or off when it suits you. We decided to stay on for the whole trip then go back and get on and off. The first stop was there city hall. It was gigantic. You walked in and the ceiling was amazing, so high that you felt you were like an ant. The architecture of this building was beautiful. Then we stopped at the painted ladies which is the scene from the start of the TV programme Who's the boss. The Victorian homes are fantastic, the colours were amazing. Many people stay and sit in the park opposite the houses and just enjoy the view as you are high up on a hill overlooking San Francisco. Then we headed of to Golden gate park and went to the Japanese gardens. This is also where the art gallery and the equivalent of our Music Bowl was. We were running out of time so we headed back to the hotel with a full agenda for the next day.
